I was looking around thingiverse at various d&d type walls, floors, characters.

    The walls look very smooth.

    But the characters showing banding.

Is there something I can do about that ? Or is it just that the maker was using 1 mm layers to represent an arm, leg, torso, etc. and its a curved surface ?

Would slowing down the print help ? Or something else ?

    Thanks.
    (waiting for my replacement part)

I assume you might mean Z ribbing.

Search the forum for that there are a number of threads with suggestions. @Ziggy had a really detailed one. Some of us never really had the problem, others had it in Spades.

Ziggy did a lot of research into it (over many weeks) to see what caused it and while there seemed to be multiple reasons it could happen he came up with a set of fixes that work. Some work better than others for various users so you may have to experiment with the changes he discussed.

The xxl screen is rather small. I may have to put up with the Z-ribbing. My eye sight simply cannot work with that size screen.
