Unresolved Bed is dead:/

    Hi,

    Today i got this error:


    Thermal Runaway, system stopped! Heater_ID: bed

    I googled it and it looks like faulty heater thermistor. I think this might be an opportunity to change the heater. Can you recommend good one from AliExpress to buy and hook up to ROBO3D R1?

    Also i read about SSR? Can you recommend also this?

    Last question can i print PLA and PETG on buildtak or PEI WITHOUT HEATED BED? I have those leying around so i thought it will be a solution for some time.

    Those will probably all work without heat. As for the bed... it does sound a bum thermistor. If you are changing the heater I dont have any recomendation although you van get custom sized silicone heater pads (12v) from aliexpress.

    if you dont want to muck with the firmware replace it with a epcos thermistor. (stock set up). If you have a heater made you should be able to get one with the new heater and they may let you request what type. In all reality you can adjust it by changing one number in the firmware so its not a big deal :D
