First try with the R2 at using ABS and trying to heat the bed to 100 C. I have tried this a few times now and get to 80 C ish and then the message "heating failed, system stopped! Heater_ID: bed"
Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to get this sorted?

    sorry for not searching...

Good news: it's not only me
Bad news: I would like it fixed and i'm in England ! so it's not an easy return to base.

PLA it is for now then.

They are working on some fixes, probably worst case they need to send you a new bed.
You should try and call them (yea, with a phone) and talk to a tier-2 tech to get your problem registered with them and get in line for a fix.

Calling and asking for tier 2 doesnt work, you need to schedule your call online for that.

well I could build you the hex file, and post it, you can upload it to the machine with the web interface by going to settings then firmware updater. I would like you to take some advice from the more experienced members here as to if they think that is a good idea or not.

I made 2 changes, 1 to the timeout and 1 to the max power to the heatbed, but if your problem is not the same as mine it might not behave the same.
