I have mixed feelings about v2 of the print bed. While the buildtack seems to adhere better than the PEI, that stupid ribbon cable tends to get hung up on stuff, dislocating or moving the right rear corner.

You have to be extra careful or things like this can happen

Where the nozzle digs through the buildtack.

Then there is the whole replacing the buildtack, which I find no matter how careful I was, I kept getting bubbles.

I kept the heat on and peeled it back carefully, as this was my only spare / replacement buildtack. Luckily, got the bubble out to the side where it should be out of 90% of my builds. I think that bubble formed from the gouge in the surface from the printhead nozzle digging when the whole bed lifted.

Hope this doesn’t happen again or to any of you.
I’m actually missing the pogo pins

    Which mod is that?
One thing I can say about the v2 of the bed is it is amazing with ABS. The bed heats up so quickly to 100 it’s unbelievable.

Well, the default for the Robo ABS setup makes a nice raft which takes time, but the raft is a pain to remove from the underside (and the buildtack)
