I keep getting different answers! What is the build volume of the printers off the website, not kickstarter. I just want to make sure. Thanks!

It still shows 10x9x8. What's going on?

I was under the impression it was 10x9x8 as well I thought the 10x10x8 was a attempted goal. I remember because I thought it was funny that it went 10, 9, 8. I know silly

Jeff Janes is right. Originally, the attempted goal was 10x10x8, but due to some design changes, e.g. switching to the gregs wade extruder for higher torque and faster speeds, the print bed decreased by a small amount.

hmm.. that would have been good to know when you guys found this out. I ordered a 10x10 piece of boroglass. that might not fit the build platform of the robo now.

CAMBO3D, the 10x10 will still fit, and we still have the 10x10 heat beds, the shortening comes on the x axis where the x carriage is. If you want to mod a new x carriage and maybe a bowden extruder, you could possibly get the extra inch of build platform on the x axis

Wow, I thought it was 10x10x8 too, I don't remember ever reading 10x9x8, Is this just a limit because of the extruder? Is the heated bed board still 10x10? So if we change the extruder would it still be possible to get 10x10?

*edit* NVM Coby read my mind ;)

CAMBO3D, I have not gotten a response from our heat bed supplier for the exact drawings. I can manually spec it out but I don't want you to build something that could take time and money only for it to be a little bit off. But if you want I can still do that today. Let me know

This is very frustrating. One of my reasons for backing RoBo was the build volume.

Wow thanks for letting us know about the reduction in the print area, you may want to change the kickstarter info....
