Having received my Robo3D I find I am unable to reliably connect to the printer.

I have, in fact, only been able to communicate twice with the printer.

My set-up is MacbookPro running Repetier-Host Mac version 0.56. This was configured as per your Getting Started Guide.

Any advice you could offer to troubleshoot this problem would be much appreciated.

    Hi David,

This is Braydon from RoBo 3D. I am getting caught up with all the tech support questions and wondering if you did get setup and if you are printing now. Let me know so I can help

    Hi Braydon.

The problem is now sorted and I am printing.

Jeff (tesseract), along with others, assisted via the forums.

Basically, with my MacBook Pro, it seemed I was not getting enough power from my USB port. I added a powered USB hub and that solved the problem.

I have now changed my setup and am using my iMac 2007 and this works no problem.

There was a further problem which has also now been sorted thanks to the forum. This was the extruder temperature reading high. This was tracked down to a short in the connector that goes to the board
