Connected AC plug

    Hello everyone.

    I want to use an connected AC plug to turn on and turn off my printer to manage my project from the outside (with octoprint). The printer always switch on and I turn off and on with my connected plug

    But I don't know if it's bad for the printer to use a connected AC plug. What do you think about it ?

    I doubt it matters. The only difference is to the power brick. Your way kills the A/C rather than the output of the brick.
    Should be fine. If you are planning on printing remote let me strongly advise something like this too:
