    Hello,

I have both an R1+ and an R2 and now I have had both printers exhibit this weird "dimpling" problem you see in this "Dimpling.jpeg" photo where the dimpling is now appearing elsewhere on the part as shown by "No Dimpling".

I am using standard PLA and 0.2 layer height. What's weird is that:

    - I haven't seen this with other parts I have printed, but this is just a simply cylinder
    - It has happened now with Robo PLA and Hatchbox PLA
    - It has happened on my R2 and my R1+ in separate jobs
    - It has happened when both printers are printing at the same time (so I thought it was vibration) but also when printing separately
    - It isn't always on the same spot of the part, it seems somewhat random

FYI I am using Cura 15.04.6 for the R1+ and Cura 2.6 for the R2.

Any help would be appreciated as I am stumped.

    Thanks.

Usually the result of inadequate retraction settings. Try increasing retraction by 0.2 or 0.4 mm.

That is also chartacteristic of PLA that is old/has absorbed too much humidity.
