    Hey Guys,

So I recently upgraded my robo+ to an e3d V6 and double checked the wiring and I am getting an M999 error code and simplify3D is saying my extruder is at 357C when its cold to the touch. Any suggestions as far as what the issue could be?

    Thanks Guys!

Either the thermistor is broken or there is a short in the wiring.

Okay, how would I go about figuring out which of those possibilities is it?

If it measures too high it is shorted, if it measures 0 it is broken.

Trace the wiring from the thermistor back to the RAMPS board to make sure it is not a bad connector or an obvious break in the wire.
