does it matter which e3dv6 unit I buy? I see there are many from $16.00 to $70.00. is there something special I should be looking for? as always thanks to everyone for their help

For $16 you are not getting an E3D
I would suggest a vetted vendor so you don't end up with a cheap Chinese knock-off.

In the US: https://printedsolid.com/collections/accessories-and-upgrades/products/e3d-hot-end-kit-v6 (if you have an R1+ be sure to include the Robo Spacer plate in the order -- it is in the drop-down list)
