I have a Robo R2 and I did a PLA filament change once, now the printer jams when the extruder begins to print, but it does not jam when printing the initial line of filament at the front side of the printing bed

Sound like your Z offset is too low (the priming line does not honor the Z offset, it uses a hard-coded value)

Rerun the Z offset wizard and the Fine Tuning wizard.

When there is too much backpressure within the nozzle, which happens in a situation like @mark tomlinson describes above, you can run into a situation where the Extruder motor will rip the filament or even stalls completely. Run the Z offset wizard again and see if you can get it "more correct" for your printer.
