Answered Extruder motor skipping

    Yea i sent them a email. The temp helped a little but now it only does it about half way through the print even trued a new spool. I have noticed that the z axis seems to be way to close to the nozzle when it prints i can see the bed being pushed down in certain spots. Ive tried gapping the z acis wizard more and that seems to make print quality worse and half way through its back to skipping again. I believe its getting jammed up. The ball bearing at the top of the z axis rail also keeps popping out and i have to push it back in. I hope Robo has a easy fix for all this or at least let me ship it back for a new machine.

    They should take care of you.
    That is certainly a problem.

    Call them during business hours. Don't rely on Email.

    They have confirmed that the stepper driver current is fixed and not adjustable so.. either the stepper is bad or the control board is.

    Thanks mark i have found that it was a combo of bad fillament and the bed jamming to close to the extruder.
