I received my new stepper motor, installed it and tested it. Works fine.

Now the filament does not extrude while printing using ABS. The feeder turns fine.
If I manually put pressure on the filament, then it extrudes fine.

When its printing, the filament eventually melts. Not sure what the issue is while its printing.

220 might be low for ABS.
You need to experiment with different temperatures. Raise it in 5 degree increments and test extrude.
Also check the hobbed bolt (remove the two spring loaded screws on the feeder) and see if it is clogged with debris.

If the extruder is in the air do you have problems with it extruding?

Figured out the issue. The new motor that I installed was plugged in reversed.
The filament was actually retracting instead of extruding

    Thanks!
