Hey All! So I know Robo3D will be selling filament, as I talked with them about it. But I was wondering if any of you knew a great supplier for the US. Decent prices, and good quality. Thanks!

I have bought the ABS on amazon for cheap, I don't really recommend it. At least not until you know your machine well enough to use that junk.

my second order for my current printer was from http://ultimachine.com/ their plastic is good from my experience and they aren't to high priced (plus they tossed in a few sample lengths of filament

Also JDM, I haven't tried Nylon yet, but I seem to remember reading the gas it can give off is really bad for you. though that warning may have been for using weed whacker line :) I hope so I would like to print with it

bringjustin weed wacker line has fiberglass and other additives to give it strength. Thats also why it gives off such nasty and toxic fumes. Nylon 618 is designed for 3D printing. It is reported to have very little fumes or oder....
That being said I am a firefighter and have been through HAz-Mat certification courses along with years of annual training and just because you don't smell a foul oder doesn't mean there is not hazardous fumes being put into the air. This is why I will be doing all my printing in the garage where I have an exhaust fan.... no matter what filament I'm printing with.... I also have 2 small children to worry about. Don't want to find out 10 years from now PLA fumes cause health problems after it's to late.... ya know....
