Solved Firmware update troubles

    Libraries can and eventually end up in libraries, whether you put them there or install from ZIP files (either in the IDE installation directory or in the Documents/Arduino/libraries). If you are running under Windows, the default is the best place which would be Documents/Arduino/your files here.

    It just makes things easier to find for the IDE, helps eliminate errors like not finding the U8glib, etc. Besides it will be asier to answer other people's questions if your setup is about the same as most default installations.

    To fix my issue was to not install version 2 and use version 1 change my settings for the lcd screen. I also had the wires crossed on my screen
