fusing filament tool?

    I havve seen a couple different gadgets out there but they arent available anymore.
    I particulary liked this one due to its simplicity:



    is there another solution ?

    in reality its really not worth the hassle in my opinion. There are companies that make gradient filament. Back when I tried it I used a large flat blade heat iron (for making habisat belting/orings) and then smoothed out the "bulge" with flush cutters. Still not very fun
