Just a quick note on something I've found.
I was looking for different types of glues and adhesives to use on the different types of plastic.
I found that Loctite 451 works really well on PLA but was unsure how it would work with ABS.

I just tried using Loctite 414 on ABS and it works well too. I'll try this afternoon with 451.

Just thought I should let you guys know.

I understand making a slurry of ABS and Acetone works well do to chemically weld the parts together. I'll try that soon too.

i like to print a lot of clear projects. i'm currently using an epoxy mix to glue my pieces together that dries with a yellowish tint to it. do you know of any strong glues that dry clear?

Bondic does look amazing, thanks. I can see how it would work great in repairing a bad print as well.

Yes but lots of times you want it bonded on the inside as well

Bondic can be applied in layers. Or use it with something else.

I use RC plane glue - CA. They have thin medium and thick. Found it holds part very strong.

Once you purchase the Bondic kit, you can get cheaper refills by looking on eBay for UV LOCA Glue, LOCA is light-activated optically clear adhesive and is generally used to attach glass to LCD panels, a small 5ml tube is like $2.00 about a fifth the cost of the Bondic refills. It does require a few more seconds to set under the tiny UV LED Bondic provides.
