If anyone is looking for an adhesive that works for PLA, I recommend Plastruct Plastic Weld.
I just tried it on two PLA parts and it appears to have truly fused them together.

I've tried a few different superglues with and without accelerators and epoxies. None really formed a good bond.

    Good thing to know.
For ABS super glue has worked well, for PLA model airplane cement works well.
