I don't think anyone has suggested they are fulfilling web orders. All these are KS orders.

I missed that, and as you say Sye ordered through the website and appears to have his.

That seems VERY strange. Maybe Sye can confirm that.

Just paid all the duties etc on-line and it came to £36.30. Much more reasonable than I expected but I did see that Robo3d marked it as a gift.

    Delivery will be Monday.... YAHOO.

Cheers Tesseract, I will bear your advice in mind when I get around to doing it.

Currently the machine is heating the hot end when I power up the printer!! (300'c) When I connect it to the PC Repetier cannot control it! Very strange, Braydon advises it maybe a software glitch but as yet I have no way of stopping it happening! :(

Until I hear how i can stop this happening I cannot do a thing  So I have an expensive and very large paper weight! lol

    Anyone else had this problem?

By the way, my fees payable were £67 to DHL...

At the moment mine is looking like it may become an expensive paperweight also.

I have had it connected a couple of times but it is very intermitant and at the moment it seems that it doesn't want to come out and play.

oh dear David, thats not good news.

When mine arrived one of the cables was not connected; One that connects to the power supply...
Then the end clogged on meeting the included ABS

Good job we are not desparate to use them :p:rolleyes::confused:

Mine was scheduled for delivery on Monday but due to the weather DHL never made it, eventually got it today :) Duty was £36.30 which was less than I thought.
After a couple of hickups mines printing fine from Win 8.1. Well I lie, better than fine :) The 5mm calibration cube came out amazing with the small PLA supplied with the printer.
When I use the PLA supplied by faberdashery the quality isn't anywhere near the same, I've had to increase the initial layer 1 temp by 20 otherwise it fails, getting caught on layer 2 or layer 1 not bedding correctly. Even after that the edges and fill aren't anywhere near the same.
Where are people buying their PLA or ABS in the UK from and getting good print results?

As soon as it is powered up it starts heating the hot end, 300'C !!! and Repetier has no control over it!! Still waiting for Robo's reply to my emails :(

How about you David? your up and at it yet?

    Sye

Just had that problem myself and got together with the boys over the shoutbox to troubleshoot it.

If your hotend is showing 300deg as soon as you start it up, even though it is cool to the touch, it appears there is a short in the thermistor cable or connector somewhere.

It is the connector on T0 on the ramps board.

I solved my problem (temporarily) by unplugging and re-plugging the connector. It works fine now.

If your hotend is up to 300deg, and it is the standard one, the peek is probably wrecked now.

What I don't understand is that the firmware should have shut it down before it reached those temperatures.

Lol. 220 rolls! Planning on doing a fair bit of printing then, hopefully when your printer is up and running.
Seems the PLA I got needs to be heated to a huge temp than the PLA that came with it.
I'm down in Kent so not really :)
