Would anyone know if the hotend heatsink cooling fan is on an addressable pin? I'm looking to disable the fan when the hotend is cold, similar to how many other printers configure their cooling.

I saw that similar questions have come up in other related topics, but I can't seem to find a straight answer on whether or not it should be possible to address the fan, or if its just hardwired to a 12v bus.

    Thanks everyone,
    Rob

The original Robo system board schematic had it independent. But the print head boards have it hard wired to +12v and GND. The Partsbuilt board did not try and address this because the Uptown and Downtown boards would defeat it.

    I only use these fans:

They are made for continuous use and pump a hell of a lot of air.
