    OK...

I'm running a Robo3d r1+ for almost the past year. I have learned a lot about it, like replacing the hot end or nozzles, how to keep it dallied it, cooling, bed adhesion, and how to print with different filaments. I'm now happy to say I'm starting to get a handle on it. I print mostly PLA and PETG at 0.200 mm. I pint really small stuff down to 0.100 mm with great susses. So today I felt like pushing the it a little more and printed my first piece at 0.050 mm. And I'm feeling pretty good about it. I need to increase the retraction a little more and hopefully some of the bulbs and zits will go away. I'm currently only using a stock hex head at 0.4 mm and two cooling fans.

That looks pretty good :) good job! Don't forget lower resolution you may need to drop the speed a bit for better quality

If that was printed in PETG, you might need to increase temps just a few degrees to eliminate the hairs. PETG is unlike most other filaments in that more heat is needed to get rid of the hairs as opposed to less heat.

I've heard of on member getting his down to .02 and that was with a beta with drawer slides on the y-axis. Now that is some serious tuning. Looks like you are doing pretty good though at .05. Keep up the great work. I agree with Geof and WW that speed and temp can be tweaked a bit to dial it in further if needed.
