Try as I might, I cannot seem to cut PTFE tubing without some burr on the cut end. This can go unnoticed as I just found out while chasing another problem.

So, it appears important to get a "square cut, burr free" end to meet with the heat break and insure there can be no way for filament, especially the "flexible" kind, to find and excuse to hang up and possibly clog.

How do you do it? Free hand with a sharp razor blade does not seem to be the hot ticket. Or the cool one either.

I just drilled an appropriate size hole in a block of hard wood, inserted the tube, cut it with the blade angled to cut flush. Done.
