Things don't seem to solidify right until about 1mm off the bed.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

    Over extrusion (calibrate the eSteps)?
Not getting a good first layer (you may need to adjust the Z offset)?

Hmm... the first layer always SEEMED okay. The material sits right down on glass and doesn't move. I put the z-offset to -.1, it had no noticeable affect. First layer looks perfect, next few layers look bad, everything above it looks good.

How do I calibrate the eSteps?

Measured the filament used for a 20mm extrusion command. It used 20mm.

Lowered the extrusion multiplier to .95. I'll see if that works.

Sorry, had this thing for a month, haven't played with it enough. :p

Lowering the multiplier made the problem worse. I raised it 1.05, worked better. Put it up to 1.1, even better, but still getting the weird gapping thing.
