I'm trying to get a replacement hot end for my r1. Robo 3d does not have it in stock, and hasn't for a month. I need to know before i purchase an r2 hot end if i can use my old heater and temperature sensor in one for the r2 on my r1. Robo 3d won't respond to me so that i can spend my money with them. Somebody PLEASE help me.

To make short answer longer :)

Robo uses the Hexagon hotend in all their machines.
Better yet, it is a special version with a slightly customized thermistor cartridge (yea, that kind of special)
But ... other than the wiring that hooks it up to the printer -- same hotend. So if you reused the bits you can it will totally work :)

Thank you. I have been trying to get Robo 3d to answer that question for a long time.
