Partial Answer Just got my new RepRapD1scount Smart Controller

    Just finished installing it (a fall down simple process) and am currently printing the case using the print from memory card function (first time I've been able to do that).

    I've looked through the menus and now I need to learn what this controller can do. Some items are self explanatory but many are a mystery to me.

    Is there a resource available that goes through all the menu choices explaining what they are and what they do?

    The RepRap wiki has some discussion but it is IMHO confusing in how they layout the material.
    The one you linked is far better.

    I've read those before but was hoping someone knew of a doc or site that went through the menu options with maybe examples or explanations of what they all did.

    Most are easy enough but some are still a mystery to. Good thing experimenting is fun.

    Most of the stuff is display only, not much to do with the controller other than set a few things during the print job.

    I am enjoying it so far. Nice to have the laptop free again lol.

    That is why I also added a RaspberryPi to my printer. If I want more control I just web into it from my PC. If I am at the printer I use the LCD.
