Nope. That didn't solve it. :/ It's only happening in Simplify.

The best way to level the x is with a piece of paper. Lower the print head to the bed on the good side until you just feel drag on the piece of paper. Power down the printer. Then slide the nozzle to the other side and spin the threaded rod on that side while hold the other threaded rod u til the paper feels the same on both sides. If its crazy skewed after that i suggest shimming the bed...but only after a proper paper leveling.

Assuming Simplify3D has the startup GCode set to execute the autoleveling (G28 then G29) GCode then it works no different than any other slicer.

You DO have the startup GCode script set to include the ABL commands ... right?

Without that it will not execute or use autoleveling and ... then you have a Beta :) Not an R1 or an R1+

If the start up is right and its working in matter control (1.0 z offset default) and your using my profile (.74) the difference would be that your x is out of whack and being close to correct z offset is making it unusable until the x is sorted :) that only applies if your using mone and you verified what @mark tomlinson told you to look for in your start up script :)

Yea,the -1.0 default is a S.W.A.G. and not specific to any printer.
You have to test and fine tune your printers get that to the best number.
One of mine uses -0.7 and the other -0.4.
Start with -1.0 and tweak from there.

It does do both G28 and 29 automatically if that's what you're asking.

Well, you would adjust the value on the M565 command (for example):

M565 Z-0.9 ; set the offset for auto-leveling mechanism closer to the bed

    or

M565 Z-1.1 ; set the offset for auto-leveling mechanism further from the bed

Uh,what is the point of the level in the picture?

You do realize that when we use the term 'level' in the context of a 3D printer we do not mean level in the sense of carpentry :)

We mean that the head is even with the bed as it moves from point to point the gap with the extruder stays constant... (even if they are both at a 45 degree angle to the ground).
A level will help you not at all.

Did you level the X axis as discussed? Did you go back and check that it is still level (in the case of the Z switches being mispositioned it will not stay level).

I'm such a dork sometimes haha

Yes I leveled it with the piece of paper to the best of my abilities. Still no go. Should I have leveled it with the jog controls, then turn it off and adjust it or does it make a difference if I did it manually?

Now it's printing out thin on one side and nicely on the other leading to what looks like over extrusion. http://m.imgur.com/QNNP8OT

If it over extrudes it does it everywhere. That side must still be low :)

Should I just keep raising that side till that disappears? Will that solve the problem?

Uhm...... ok :). If the paper level is correct, you will be spot on on both sides (at least enough for auto level to take over) id suggest give the paper level another go. It takes multiple back and forth to get it right.

To answer your question is i suppose you could do that and eye ball it but then its not truley level. Like eyeballing level on a shelf your hanging...might get it close but that marble will roll off :)

When I told the threaded rod while it's printing, it gives me an okay print. But when I go back and make it restart, it's like it starts from square one. Why is that? I tried the paper method, but it's just not working. No matter how high it low it is, it still prints virtually the same.

Change your z offset in your start up script from -.74 to -.85. What does it look like then

About the same. Just not adhering to the plate as well.
