    Im trying to fix some issues with my RAMPS board without replacing it.

    So I need to replace the MOSFET from the extruder, problem is I don't know which one is for the extruder and which for the bed.

    Has anyone done this?

    Here is the labeled board for the R1/Beta (R1+ are different layout, same electrically)

    Layout for the generic RAMPS:

    Q1 is for D10, Q2 is for D9 and Q3 is for D8

    Hotend heater is D10.

    EDIT: OK, you did say R1+ in the subject :)

    Board is much the same here is the layout -- same Rules apply that the MOSFETs Q1-Q3 are in the same order regardless of the difference in the connectors

    I tried repairing one at one point (not because it was cost effective -- it really isn't unless your time is dirt cheap)
    Sometimes there is more than a bad MOSFET going on.

    Generic boards are $10 or less and there is a thread on here for converting the R1+ to use a generic one (just means re-landing some of the wires because the connectors are in slightly different spots)

    Yeah I know it's cheaper to replace it, but I'm not a fan of contributing to the electronic waste problem the world is facing.

    I attached an image of my board and MOSFETs. I labeled the MOSFETs A and B and it would help a lot to know which one is for the extruder.

    Q1 = A
    Q2 = B
    Q3 is the one below that you didn't label.

    So just like generic board Q1 = hotend

    Don't throw it away then, turn it into wall art :)

    Thanks ;)
    Lol! wall art! I'll do that if replacing the MOSFET doesn't work ;)
