LOST IT! The print head caught the lower jaw and pulled Mr. Jaws off the bed. The jaws and tail started to left during the print. One pic during the print and the other is the result.

Ok in the second pic you see that printeds triangle right above where it say HOT zone and in you r skirt as it goes to the left it is nice and flat but on teh right side it is high and round that is the problem you have a leveling issue still. It needs to be flat all the way around or the print will lift just as you are seeing it do

here is a print I am doing right now and there is a lot of area and none of the objects are lifting at all and and that is due to a level bed and proper nozzle height. The skirt is a uniform level all the way around those are the biggest factors in getting things to stick well. 2013-10-05 11.46.40.jpg

OK, I put a level on the bed and it was bang on. I then moved the head to the 4 corners of the bed and it was off. I screwed around with adding a couple of thin washers until the head was an equal distance from the bed in all four corners. So far, so good.

One small spot in the middle of the print lifted and caught the head as it moved over and pulled it off the bed. More hair spray and try it again.

The print just stalled for no apparent reason. Great. Time for a break and maybe a drink. Grrrrrr!

Success, mostly. The printing was going great but 20 minutes into it, the program froze. BUT it looks like the actual printing issues are taken care of. Any ideas as to why the program would freeze up and halt the printing?

IS this the second time it failed at the same time or did it freeze at different times or did this just happen once

Second time it froze. The first time was a couple of minutes into it, the second time, about 20 minutes into it. BUT, the print is coming out good, thanks for your help.

The USB goes directly from my computer to the printer.
Here's a picture of the progress so far.

Well, I won't have enough PLA to try to redo Mr. Jaws again. I'll have to try something small.
I have 2 kgs spools of ABS but only the PLA that came with the printer.

The print does look good. Nice flat skirt line. I have had mine stop twice on my since i got it but it happened so infrequently and I could re produce it I could never figure out what is was. Does the system lock up or anything like that I forget what OS is it a MAC or PC that you are using

If you venture in to PLAyou should heat the bed and then do all you settings as teh heat will change things on you and you better really try an get the layers nailed do but they lloked in the last pic but make sure because ABS can lift and warp. Once you get the settings correctito me it actually prints cleaner but getting those settings right is a BI*$%.

ABS is just a lot more finiky
