well so far the first layer is looking much better. No mushed up stuff between rows so thats a plus. Just don't know if I'm quite getting adhesion. Looks like one corner of outline might be poppin up, we'll see.

    well that's a different story...

once upon a time layers were pulling up.
When little red ridinghood looked at her settings, her fan was on full blast for the first layer (or at all if printing abs or nylon no fan for them)
when she disabled her fan for the first several layers (using pla ) or all of them (abs and nylon) she found that it was still pulling up.
then she popped herself in the forehead and sprayed down some aquanet max hold. and maybe decreased initial layer height and/or increased initial layer extrusion.

Also, if it's winter where you are, and you're in a 50 degree or colder room.. you might need a cover just to print PLA..

Oh trust me, little red riding hoods basket of goodies for granny is full of aquanet. As granny requested for her 50's fab hair do. But unfortunately little red riding hood forgot to turn off her fan for the first ten layers as it reset itself.

If you really need to print hotter, bump the max temp in the firmware.
With an all-metal hotend (like the hexagon) there is no real reason to keep the hotend that low.
Unless you are printing nylon you don't need to get crazy hot, but 235 (or even 245) is a bit on the low side. At least as a high limit.

Hey guys no such luck. The first few layers appeared to print fine and then I came back to a ball of plastic thread. Here is what the print looked like. IMG_2029.jpg IMG_2029.jpg IMG_2030.jpg IMG_2031.jpg

    Heres my steps x:80 y:80 z:2267.72 e:723.38

The z doesnt seem right. Defenders post showed something like 2650 for what the Z should be. But these are the factory settings. I have not made any changes.
