new thermistor not working? :(

    only problem printed solid doesnt ship to ausie land :p

    is it just as simple as replacing the old one anything else need to be done ? after

    No, it pretty much is just that. Plan on spending a few hours doing it.
    You have to dismantle the current one, remove it and un-wire it. Then wire up the new one and reassemble it back onto the carriage.
    You currently have a direct (not a bowden). The 'wiring' in this case is the heater core (makes the hot end 'hot') and the new thermistor they will include with it.

    If I am not mistaken the FAQ linked to some instructions for the replacement.

    I would suggest when you order it that you order some spare/replacement heater cores and thermistors. They are cheap and will be handy to have around for repairs.

    thanks ill probaly order one next week then :) yeah already order d a few new replacement thermistors fans and that
    our local electronic store only had 6 thermistors in there warehouse in all of western australia wow i thought
    the un wiring/wiring parts easy did that when i was checking stuff hehe

    Frankly it is not complicated, just be slow and careful (pay attention to what you disconnect and from where) and you will be fine.

    well atleast i know a bit more about this thing than when i got it

    Trust me, after a year you will know it inside and out (or have thrown it away). Not much room for anything else :)

    Once you get the printer sorted and learn the basics of 3D printing you can do amazing things with it.

    its just the little things that get frustrating lol (throws out the window) :p
    i did notice theres not alot to it under neath and i can get most of the parts from my local electric store
    robo suport sucks or is it just me that realised :)

    Yea, that is nicer than I would have been... to Suck it must (at some level) exist.
