Arduino Mega is a cheap fix even if it were not covered under warranty.
Granted, it is a hassle to need to swap it (but not super hard).

Even if it is the Aduieno board it is fixable. How long have you had the printer? Hopefully less then 6 months. If so its still under warranty. Where do you live?

I was just thinking, can't we 3D print a tube for NinjaFlex filament? Has anyone designed out a tube that can be used with the Robo?

Expert Novice on utube is designig a Robo3D extruder just for soft filaments. It will be printable. Dont think a printed tube is fesable

    2mm ID/4mm OD

Not going to be easy with a 0.4 nozzle.
Seems to be one of those "why?" issues :)

Why would it be difficult with a .4mm nozzle? Seems to me it'd be easy for it to print something 5 times it's size.

Needs to be very smooth. Cant achieve that smoothness on the inside of a thin printed tube. The filament would catch on the layer ribs.

Are people just printing it on glass what about hairspray/glue is any of that needed?

I haven't got Ninja flex to work on my Robo yet ( need to re-do my PTFE tube..then it shouldn't be a big deal )

just printed a thing today in ninja flex on my replicator 2. on BuildTak ( BAD IDEA ). Was impossible to remove and I used no bed heat.

Here is my first ninjaflex print. ( on my replicator2.. i'll try it on the robo this weekend once my lead screws get here i'll fix my PTFE and do it all in one shot )

The stringy crap and support material came right off. cool stuff!

I made a dedicated ninja flex spool holder from thingiverse and bolted to the wall. probably wont be needed for my Robo3d since it has a top mount spool holder already.

Possibly, unless you drill it out a bit to smooth out the inside? I think I'm going to try it.

Given the sizes involved it would be easier with a smaller nozzle is what I meant.
Can you print it with a 0.4? Sure, but the detail may not be as good as you want.
    Print slow and see.

    Hi guys,

This is my first time post something in the forum, but i always read the advices given it.

Thanks to all of you, i printed with NinjaFlex. Only i put the pen tube like all of you said it, the photo adjunt the post show it, with a cut halfmoon at the height of the feed gear with oil inside the tube. This with the recommeded settings gaven.

I had only one issues. The adhesion with the hot bed was bad. I only used the hot bed clean to 50°C. Another recommendation to improve the adhesion of the first layer? hairspary? glue sitck?

    Thanks to all.

I use glue stick for everything. Always sticks for me and when cool comes right off. I apply when cool, one thin layer

I like the hairspray better as it sticks as well if not better than the glue stick I used and it's much less messy.

I found the hair spray to be very messy, even using paper to shield parts. Since I print all day long on two to three Robos I find the glue stick much easier to control and requires less time removing over spray off the machine moving parts. I have just bought a film that was demonstrated on simfonia sams utube channel which requires no glue stick or hair spray. Just wipe the film cleans with alcohol after each print. I will install this on one of my Robo's and post how it works for me.

How do you keep the bearing from smashing the PTFE tube? I ended up cutting my PTFE tube low enough so the bearing wouldn't touch it. havn't put ninja flex through yet.
