Answered Nozzle Digging Into Print (Noob)

    Also, when it was done printing, it seemed like Cura wanted the bed to go way back, as there was grinding noise for a few seconds after the bed hit its limit, like the software thought it had more space to move.

    As for the grinding that is always the printer being driven beyond a limit on axis.
    If you are driving it away from home and it is doing that then the bed size is configured wrong for whatever software you are using.
