so an update on my vacuum chamber idea, good news is that the ebay chamber i bought is working great,
I left the nylon in the chamber, its been about 3 days now and the chamber is still holding a good seal and vacuum.

so if anything, i could use it to keep my filaments dry. as for drying it using the vacuum chamber, i need to do some more tinkering..

OK... so your thinking the oven and dryer are still the best options?

or heated vacuum chamber .. got to do some more testing. I dont think vacuum alone will remove the moisture.. but i haven't tried printing with it yet to confirm..

248 is the softing point for peek just make sure your temps dont go higher than 240

i dont know if the robo guys cal the hotend temp with a thermocouple meter. you could be 10 degress off and not know it if you dont do this.
