So long story short I ended up having to reload a pc and forgot to backup the settings I had in Cura. How ever I do have a number of gcode files that were generated prior to the reload and I was wondering if there is a way to look at the code and pull the old settings I had out?

After reloading Cura my prints are terrible and I remember spending a pretty long time tuning the settings to get the build quality I liked.

    Hopefully there is......

I dont think there is alot of information in the gcode but you can open it in notepad and go line by line to see if the slicer has them in it

    Bummer, but no.
Simplify3D writes all of the print settings as comments in the start of the output GCode file, but not all slicers are so kind.

Well the good news is that the startup / end gcode is stored so my z offset configuration is there. That is at least something.
