When upgrading the hot end for the E3D one, you'll notice there isn't enough room for it, as the original Robo3D parts fan is in the way.
This parts fan holder replaces the stock one and fits fine.
Install the holder first and then screw on the fan.
Notice: I was only able to use 3 out of the 4 screws that hold the fan to the holder as the fourth one is partially blocked by the hot end. Three are more than enough though.

Yeah, couldn't use that as my LED holder covers the front of those two holes that Jeff's design uses for the screws.

One thing to keep in mind is that on the E3d tighten down all four screws to secure the cooling fan to the shroud can sometimes torque the fan frame itself enough to prevent the fan from moving if you have wired it up and it still does not work try loosening 2 of the screws I eventually had only two holding it in place as it is not heavy at all so this won't be an issue.

Just to clarify, this part doesn't have to do with the E3D fan.

It is a holder for the parts fan and addresses the lack of space for the installation of the E3D issue.
