    Hello Everyone

I recently changed my hotend and replaced the head and the nozzle and I mistakenly unplugged all the connections to the wire and when I started it up I got this error

<-: Extruder switched off. MINTEMP triggered !
<-Error:printer stopped due to errors. Fix the error and use M999 to restart. (Temperature is reset. Set it after restarting)
    <-echo:SD init fail

Also the X Y and Z axis moves a little but returns to starting point

The slicer is trying to heat the hotend but it's not heating within a predetermined time frame so it's causing the error message. That's for the heating element. If the thermistor isn't picking up any reading then it will cause the error immediately before you could heat the element. Make sure that both parts are attached, and see if the slicer detects the temperature.

That's the program which runs GCode for the printer to print an STL file. Do you use Matter Control, Cura or another program?

Version 1.7.5 was the last version before they redesigned the program with version 2.0. The 2.0 version combined the slicer with a drawing capability. I don't know if any other slicer has that function.

so apparently I coulden't find the 1.7.5 version and the 2.0 version doesn't start up and I constantly get a start up error, and when i got back on 1.5 I got this error and the extruder temperature still doesn't show a reading upload_2025-7-26_4-0-52.png

The problem is most likely one of these:
    1) wiring/ connection to the thermistor
    2) Bad thermistor
    3) Wiring / connection to the RAMPS board

Check the connections to the thermistor and the RAMPS and if those are well connected then it is most likely the thermistor itself and that is a cheap and easy part to swap out. Since you worked on that section of the hotend I would imagine a wire for the thermistor got crimped or broken.
