Please help

I just got my robo printer and I followed the instructions and all that and got the software but when it came to moving it wont move I think it has a problem communicating between them some how and also my plug in seems to be flipped from what I have seen in videos not sure if its nothing or not. (power outlet on left witch right) it say waiting or disconnected I updated the drivers with no luck and don't know what to do now. please help.
