My LEDs went out the other day while printing but there was no other issue and I let it finish. Today I noticed when I kick off a print job I'm getting a red rapid blinking LED. Can I console in and find an error code or something? I have a robo r1+ with original firmware and no mods other than an LCD screen.

The red blinking sounds normal if coming from arduino. You can go through the slicer if printing over usb (gcode log) to see if there is an issue.

Does the printer still print ?

Which printer do you have ?

Check for a loose wire on your LEDs. That might explain why they went out. The rest sounds normal if the red blinking is from the arduino and it still prints fine as Geof said.

Thanks for the replies. I've been away from the printer a bit. I remember the flashing light now. I'll check the LED leads but it seems odd both would go at once but certainly not impossible.
