possible upgrade/modification to r1+

    hey everyone.. was thinking of the possibility of upgrading the z axis on my robo r1+ to be able to print taller pieces.. I believe I found the correct lead screws and support shafts online that are much longer.. I know I'd have to build a different frame to support the new rods and lengthen the wires.. but also looking for some suggestions or input on the matter.. I'd like to print out full forearm, bicep, shin pieces to my iron man suit.. I'm not much caring for having to glue 2 pieces together as it doesn't seem like they fit together perfectly.. any input is appreciated..

    Search through the projects folder.
    Someone else did something very similar (extending the Z axis).

    Not recently so you may have to wander back through it a ways.
