    Hi guys.

I'm looking at getting the robo 3d On the site it asks me for my country to get the correct currency pricing. I put in the UK but it still only shows in dollars.
What would the price be in GBP?

Also how much would it total to with shipping and any taxes?

And what are the estimated delivery times?

Would the flashforge creator pro be better?

And finally is the Robo 3D worth it?!

    Thanks in advance

I can answer the question " is it worth it?"

It's amazing. I can't get enough of it. My quality is improving daily as I gain understanding of the techniques. The Robo3D print has a bed size that allows me to make big and small objects. Big plus in my books for purchasing it.

Notice my quality. I have the stock Robo3D printer from when they went public. I got my printer in March 2014 I think. I have been printing almost every day since. learn as you go.

And this forum is probably the best thing since sliced bread.

    They all look good.

Have you used it much to print things other than small trinkets and such? Or is that all 3d printers are really good for ATM?

    What is ATM?

All the above are things I made myself. The other things that I have made were given to their respective parties. You can print whatever you can design.

    Not sure what your asking?

    At the moment*

What i mean is, have you used your printer to make anything such as tools/mounts/cases and such things which are practical?

Sorry, all the other stuff I sold or gave away. Some are private or trade secret stuff that is can't reveal.

You can make any thing really. Do you have experience with 3D software? What do you use?

Ah brilliant! Great items there, very well printed as well. Where they all with the robo 3d?

I have no experience with 3d software, I'm a complete newbie interested in the revolution which is 3D printing!

    Very nice chess set there.

Can anyone shed any light on the pricing and shipping dates in the UK?

If i can't get any accurate prices for it then i think i will go with the Flashforge Creator Pro which looks like a very nice printer as well

Nobody on this forum works for Robo directly. We are all just users. You will need to message them yourself from the Robo3D website.

Robo has drastically reduced it's shipping times as of recent, so many previous experiences will not reflect future orders.

I believe the shipping time to the UK is 4-7 business days. I'll see if I can find out more.

As for cost, I input a random UK zip code and it came out to $175 to ship to the UK, excluding VAT for a total of $974USD or about 587GBP

As for the 175 shipping, I remember a few people getting a high number like that and Robo saying that was an error, theirs came closer to around $68 I think once robo recalculated. again this is only speculation as he really needs to ask ROBO this question, not us.

I had to pay £101. 98p to DHL which I think was for import duties, this was on top of the shipping that Robo charged me. I think somebody ripped me off somewhere but I had already paid for my printer so ended up just paying up, On a footnote I am extremely happy with my printer and am enjoying tinkering with it.
