Yes and no. The link defaults to the 12 v 25W/30W but if you change it to the 12V 40W it is $8.99.

I do still have the one that came with the hexagon.
So, you guys think I should change the thermistor and the heater.

I am already waiting for the studs thermistors.
And I've just ordered some 12V 40W heaters.

I have tried without the cooling fan and it did stop all the same. That is when I've been able to capture the Error code.

Unless it is worth the effort I'd wait and just install the stud thermmistor and the upsized heater core at the same time.

If the cooling fans off didnt help anything is assume thermistor. The large heater will be an added bonus

I'd just have to be patient and wait for everything to arrive so I can do the mods at once.
I'll keep everybody in da loop. :)

    Just a quick question.
Do we have a limit in W for the heater?
    I've access to 12V 45W heater.

There is no real limit on the extruder heater.

OK.... I ve received and install new elements on my ROBO3D R1+ mod.

    Before extra mod:

    • ROBO3D R1+
    • E3D v6 hotend with it's thermistor and 12V 25W cartridge heater
    • Marquis Mark11 fan shroud.

My prints were stopping because of a too important drop of temperarature during printing.
On Mark and Geof advices I did two new improvements.

    New Mods:

    Result:
Now everything works fine and my prints are running until the the end. :)

    Thank you all
