Hey Harry they look good I wonder is their anything in the kit when you order ed the ABS their has to be some way of holding that in place. If there is I wonder if it could hold the glass and aluminum if needed as well. If not then I think it would be a good idea. i don't think it would have any type of a heat issues.

However these are for a pretty standard width setup with all the different setups being talked about(with or without glass and/or aluminum, how thick the glass etc.) I would probably just build my own custom ones or even a set the overall design is not that complex the trick is resizing the thickness I do not know what files are included with the download and I don't think slicer programs can adjust the dimensions other than possibly overall scale

forget the glass for ABS aluminum is the way to go. what I use is 6063, bead blast the surface. it works pretty good just like that if you heat it up, or I've come up with the perfect paint for treating the surface.

    paint formula:

2 parts natural Abs (no pigments!! Important)
    1 part natural PVC
10 parts DMC (used to weld acrylic, available from plastic store)
    1 part Acetone
.25 parts aluminum oxide flour (pottery supply)
*optional* toluene to slow drying if you need longer working time eg for air brushing (take ventilation precautions if aerosol painting)

paint a nice wet coating and let dry (airbrush works well for this)

this will stick your part so well you need to freeze it either in the fridge or using cold spray to get it off. You'll never get a lifted part ever again. once frozen it will peel off the aluminum like tape.

    enjoy

hey harry the only issue i might see with these clips is that it doesn't allow for the heat bed to flex. With binder clips it flexes a little bit.

but if your heated bed doesn't flex during heating cycles then you should be fine. most heated pcb beds have some flexing either up or down in the middle and since our robo heat bed is fairly large it might be more of a problem.

PLA flexes quite a bit less than ABS, but is stronger.
