Solved Printing Problems Following Installing LCD XXL

    That usually means the Z steps are incorrect. If you have an R1+PLUS it should be 800, R1 with 8 mm rods should be 2560, but if it's an early R1 with 5/16" rods then 2267.72

    And by the way, those cubes look a heck of a lot better than the test prints from before.

    Yeah if it was printed with the 5/16" firmware that would result in a 10% loss of Z height, so 36mm makes sense.

    Ok that fixed it. Everything looks good. It looks like the key was not to increase the layer time, because that was actually causing more melting. I decreases the minimum layer time to 5 sec and it worked much better. Z axis is fixed and everything looks good enough for me.
