R2 zero location on X axis

I have noticed that after the R2 goes to home when it then goes to the print 0,0 location it moves right about 10 mm. Before I go into the code and modify it to stay on the very left does anyone know the reason Robo did that? It would give us a little more bed volume if the print head stayed full left.
