I have no experience with 3D printers and am now seeing how big the learning curve is! I just unboxed my R1 + and followed all the instructions I found online. I attempted to print the calibration circle and had no luck. It’s luck my extruder doesn’t move, only the bed does?

    Can anyone help?

There were a lot of pieces that needed connected that were not mentioned in the videos and instructions I found. Where I am at this point is when I try to print, the extruder raises up about halfway and then prints. Also, the front right Z rod moves and lurches quite a bit.

You just need to have more posts.

If the extruder is going up then one of the Z switches is likely incorrectly positioned.

The video link I posted has one on autoleveling. You want to look that over because it can help you get that sorted.
