My prints are hopelessly stuck to the bed, I've had the printer a week and I've already got a small gouge on the bed due to trying to get a print off. I've seen someone say something about hairspray or some other antistatic spray, but is this the only way? I had to do that with my r1+ and it was a specific advertising point that this problem was solved with the r2. Gotta say so far my frustration with the R2 is pretty high, I'm almost at the point of just going back to my r1+.

Well, usually something like aquanet hairsparay is the best approach. You can try redoing the bed leveling wizard and the fine tuning wizard and going for a bit less 1st layer bed adhesion if you rather. You might be getting it too well stuck. I'd caution against that unless you can't solve it with a release agent (like the hairspray)

I use a sheet Polyimide liner, and all of my prints pop off easily regardless if I use hairspray or not.

I bought a pack of 5 sheets at a local Micro Center store.

Are you able to reuse them or do you have to throw away with each print?

They could be used for many prints. I'm still using the first one in the package. In the past I've used other bed liner materials that were more expensive, and they didn't last as long.

I've had success using it with PLA & TPU but not with PETG. In another thread on this site, a few people recommended using PEI. I haven't tried it, but they claim that it works better. What kind of filament do you usually work with?
