I've had to replace my extruder motor and ordered a new one on eBay - long story.

There is a small problem in that the spindle that the small cog wheel attaches to on the original motor has one flat side. The spindle on the new motor is rounded all the way round. So the small cog wheel doesn't fit over it.

I can file out the centre on the cog wheel and make it fit. But I'm worried it may slip on the spindle. Would a bit of LokTite glue be enuf to hold it in position? Or is there a better way to make it fit?

Better way would be to file a flat spot on the stepper shaft IMO

That could be a bit tricky for me tools-wise. But I could give it a try...
