@AbbyV when the nozzle is just above the bed, those two orange nubs need to be pressed under the left and right bracket, if they are not then loosen the screw that holds the switch bracket in place and push them up underneath the left and right side than tighten the screw again. Before you do that make sure the hex bolt that the switch holders surround can move freely into the recess on each of those brackets. Thank you, WheresWaldo and to the creator of the videos you shared... that worked... I got the axes re-connected... unsure how they became out-of-position... but they are where they are supposed to be!
