Yep and given that the RAMPS and Arduino come in a Kit from Amazon for <$35 I would simply replace both and reload the firmware.

I can try swapping the boards at some point when the working printer is not in use. Do you guys have any suggestions/comments on the video i posted? I'm not sure why it's making that noise when I home the printer.

Thank you all so much for your help and feedback. It has been greatly appreciated.

Do you have a link to the RAMPS/Arduino Kit by any chance? Thanks so much

Sorry, I'm chiming in late. Have you tried flashing the firmware yet?

I tried following the directions on how to flash the firmware on the Robo help site but it wasn't allowing me to choose from the sketchbook option under File. Also I tried doing the same troubleshooting we have gone through on the other printer and the multimeter read around 125kOhms for each thermistor. When i swapped the thermistor plugs and read them when theyre in their normal plugs they both had the same temp as shown. However it still came up with the same error when I connected to it. Not sure what that means.

that image above showing zero means something isn't connected. Zero is min temp error- open in the circuit- Please add good photos of what your plugging in where.

That's so weird because every time I connect it, it says that it experienced the MAXTEMP error. Here are some photos of the wiring of the board, let me know if you need more or if they are not good enough. Sorry in advance if it is not helpful.

look landed ok from what I can see. Can you verify that the hotend and heatbed thermistors are whats plugged in. Its very easy with everything being unlabled to get a fan or leds plugged in.

Yes it seems the thermistors are whats plugged in.

interesting. Try uninstalling matter control or switching to Cura as a test. Its possible the software is being buggy. I doubt it but worth the check. Other than that the only thing I can think of is the board, with @Jerry RoBo 3D on the thread when he sees the responses he may have more/better trouble shooting to do.

Ok, the same temps are read when I downloaded cura.

I will try flashing the firmware, I believe I got it to work with arduino now.

Update: tried uploading the firmware, said it had a problem uploading it but did not specify what and told me to check out the troubleshooting website arduino has

    Thanks again for the help.

Sorry for all the quick responses, I just needed to disconnect from Cura to flash the firmware. Now cura reads the following temps.

If you move the bed thermistor where it connects to the RAMPS to the plug where the hotend thermistor connects and move the hotend thermstor plug to the bed one (basically swapping on the RAMPS which thermistor is used for bed and hotend) and the bad reading switches to the hotend then you know you have a problem with thermistor. If the problem still shows on the bed thermsitor/temperature reading then it is the RAMPS or Arduino.

Yeah the temperature stays the same for the bed. Sorry I forgot to switch it and check after I flashed the firmware.

OK, then you need a new RAMPS :)
It is remotely possible that it is the Arduino Mega instead of the RAMPS, but if you have both and the time then swap the RAMPS first.
Otherwise swap them both and reload the firmware. You do not need to reload the firmware if you only swap the RAMPS
