Hello all! in the market for a new print head. Any suggestions/stores to buy from?

Did they ever do the dual hotends for this unit? or laser engraver..

You can use the Hexagon if you want a drop-in, there are a couple of threads on getting alternatives (like the E3D) installed. Robo3d never released a dual extrusion kit, but I manually did one myself on the C2 and others have done similar projects with the R2.

P.S. you need to edit the firmware to activate the second extruder as well..

I have been using and E3D wade short generally around $5 to $6. I have posted the replacement shroud STL required. Only the hex hotend is small enough for a dual extruder. The back of the R2 has a knockout where you can mount an extruder. Pop off the left black snap on plastic inside the R2. You can see the place to mount a stepper. I purchased a dual gear extruder ( I forget whether left or right handed) It fit in nicely.

If you do not know how to modify the code I can do that for you.
